Every Friday we have a "Special Snack." A Parent is asked to provide a snack that relates to our theme.
They can either pre-make it, or let the children "build" it in class.
They can come up with their own creations, or I provide some fun snacks we've had in the past.
It's a great culminating activity!  Here are some examples... they're scrumpcious!

At the beginning of the year we read Chicka, Chicka, Boom, Boom and make palm trees!

During our pets unit we mad Clifford Chow!

When we are studying the farm, the pig cookies "roll" in the mud!

Spider Cookies

Pilgrim Hats

Reindeer Cookie

In December, the children decorate gingerbread cookies.

Polar Bear Sugar Cookies

Bear Claws

We live in Florida... so we study alligators and make alligator pie!

Wow! An alligator cake!

Dirt cups are great with a plant or bug unit!

Ladybug cookies are always fun!
