 Throughout the year we have several fun filled days that are extra special.  We celebrate Clifford's birthday!  We dress up for a Halloween parade and carnival!  The history of Thanksgiving is taught through a special program.  We decorate gingerbread men with our family and friends, all while dressing like Roudolph!  When we study bears, we read A Pocket for Corduroy and wear as many pockets as we can on pocket day!  Also during bears, we have a Teddy Bear Picnic. We sing teddy bear songs for our parents and have a picnic lunch with both parents and bears!  For Valentine's Day, we walk to the neighborhood mailbox to mail valentines to our families.  During Dinosaur Day, we did for dinosaur bones, eat a dinosaur lunch and watch our dinosaur eggs hatch!  Before spring break we have an Easter egg hunt with the Easter Bunny!  During our insect unit, we perform a very cute bug show.  The pirates celebrate with a treasure hunt and barbaric feast!
